Mine Site Technologies (MST), the global leader in communication technologies solutions, has launched a new “solutions” website. The new site is designed to assist MST’s future customers in determining the correct communications, tracking, and data network systems for their specific requirements. In addition, current customers will find the site to be a useful tool in researching additional systems and system extending products and services that are available to them.
Since its’ founding in 1989 MST has focused on providing communications and associate technologies for the mining industry. Beginning with the first commercially available PED (Personal Emergency Device) through-the-earth communications system MST has remained at the forefront of creating communications solutions for its customers The “One Network” solution, created around MST’s ImPact wireless switch technology, is one example. The ImPact system provides its users with a single Wi-Fi standards based network the enables voice, data, video, personnel and vehicle tracking, and a broad scope of other applications to support increased production and enhanced safety.
MST has taken the expertise gained in the mining industry and is now providing communication solutions for Oil & Gas and industrial applications as well. Lloyd Zenari, CEO, has been with MST since its beginnings, “Our primary goal is to provide our customers with a complete communication network solution whether it is for underground mining, surface mining, oil & gas/pipeline, or industrial applications. Our new website is a direct reflection of that philosophy.”
The new website is designed to be a customer resource tool for determining which MST network solution is suitable for their specific needs. The website incorporates a straightforward, application specific, solutions based format with a simple click-through design. The user can quickly find their application specific solution and the associate product information. Kent Henschen, VP Global MarCom, notes, “The new website is designed to be a user friendly, customer focused tool. The user will quickly find answers needed to make informed decisions regarding their communications needs.”
